Your first appointment will be a 45 min consultation where your concerns are discussed, and a medical history is taken.
Next, a thorough facial assessment is performed, and a treatment plan is formulated. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss options for your treatment.
The actual treatment involves multiple small injections with a very tiny needle over the area of concern. You will feel a sharp sting or prick, but this is usually very well tolerated by most patients.
The entire procedure takes 10-15 min, and you may return to work or your daily activities right after your treatment. We advise that you avoid strenuous physical activity for the rest of the day, avoid rubbing the treated areas, and not to schedule any facials or facial massages for a week.
At our clinic, we focus on achieving a natural look with all of our anti-wrinkle treatments. Whether using dermal filler or botulinum toxin injections, we ensure that the results enhance your real skin rather than drastically changing your appearance. Our approach provides subtle improvements, leaving you with a refreshed, youthful look that feels authentic.
You will start seeing results within 3-4 days, and full results at 2 weeks post treatment. Occasionally, you may need to come back for a top-up treatment to certain areas (usually on the forehead).
If this is for a pre-wedding treatment, we highly recommend that you come in at least 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding day, to allow us time to provide any necessary fine adjustments.
Botulinum toxin injections are a highly effective solution for reducing wrinkles in key wrinkle treatment areas such as the forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines. This safe treatment works by relaxing the underlying muscles, softening wrinkles and creating a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Clinical studies show that botulinum toxin injections can deliver real results with minimal downtime, allowing you to return to your daily activities quickly.
Results for facial treatments typically last 3-4 months, sometimes longer. There is individual variability due to various factors. Wrinkles that are deep and longstanding may need a few treatments to soften, and may not completely resolve.
For certain treatments where higher units are used, for example in the armpits for excessive sweating, the effects usually last 6-9 months.
Your wrinkles and fine lines will return to their original [pre-treatment] state. We recommend keeping on top of the treatments on a regular basis.
Minor post-treatment symptoms may include redness around the injection sites (this typically resolves within 10 min), bruising (rare), or headache. Allergic reactions to Botulinum toxin or its constituents are very rare – rest assured that our clinic is fully equipped to manage this.
It is important that you disclose your medical conditions to us during the pre-treatment consultation. If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or have neuromuscular conditions, botulinum toxin treatments are not suitable.
While botulinum toxin injections are generally well-tolerated, it’s important to be aware of potential botox side effects. These can include mild swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection site. However, these side effects are usually temporary and resolve quickly. During your consultation, we’ll provide detailed information on what to expect and how to minimize any discomfort.
Our team ensures every procedure is a safe treatment, providing comprehensive consultations to discuss your skin concerns and desired outcomes. We take the time to assess your skin and tailor a treatment plan that delivers real results while prioritizing your comfort and safety.
